Hello, welcome to my website;
The pink hedgehog thing came about years ago when a friend remarked “you’re kind of girlie but kind of spiky too. Like a Pink Hedgehog” I’ve always liked that because I think it pretty much hits the mark. Most of us are a mixture of many disparate traits and most are not as we would first appear.
My name is Sara Allkins and I am an actor, writer, facilitator, theatre maker, writer, singer, project manager and performer. (in no particular order)
I work with young people, people with disabilities, older people, community members in their own communities, and well, anyone who would like to perform or be heard.
Oh, and I work with theatre companies too.
I believe in the power of theatre and performance to transform lives, unite communities and lift the spirits.
We can be inspired and be inspirational; lets us rise!!
